Welcome to our website! As the Executive Director, it is both an honor and a privilege to lead an organization dedicated to facilitating synergies that holistically addresses humanitarian, development, and peace-building efforts for sustainable impact across Pakistan.
I believe in the power of a fresh perspective, and I know that being a young leader in this sector can sometimes be met with skepticism. But I view it as a powerful advantage as I bring innovative outlook, unwavering determination, and a deep commitment to our cause. My position and qualification combined with our team’s wisdom and experience empowers us to challenge the status quo, to dream bigger, and to see opportunities where others may not. I believe that our organization's greatest strength lies in our ability to adapt, innovate, and remain agile in the face of complex challenges.
My educational qualifications earned abroad, combined with my experience of working with reputable INGOs in both national and international settings, have enriched my understanding of global best practices. I have had the distinct privilege of being mentored and trained by world-renowned academic and professional institutes in the UK and Switzerland, particularly in the fields of Global Affairs, Human Rights and International Organizations Management. These experiences have not only expanded my horizons but have also deepened my commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve. I am humbled to have also received recognition through numerous international awards, a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire team.
My vision for AID is clear - I aim to take us to greater heights through collaborative efforts, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of our mission. We will expand our programs to reach more communities, leveraging technology and partnerships to maximize our impact. I believe that investing holistically in education, healthcare, and sustainable development is the key to Pakistan's progress, and I am committed to contributing my utmost to these efforts. Together, we will be the catalysts for change, empowering individuals, and communities, and driving forward the overall development of Pakistan.

Our organization has had the privilege of receiving training and guidance from HHI, tapping into their deep expertise in disaster response, humanitarian aid, and crisis management. Through our close collaboration, we continuously imbue our operations with the latest insights and methodologies, ensuring that our efforts are both effective and impactful.

Acclaimed Excellence
Shireen Khalid Wadud, the Executive Director of Alliance for Integrated Development, is honored to be the first Pakistani recipient of the International Diana Award. Established in memory of Princess Diana, the award celebrates young people who tackle social issues through a peer-led approach. With support from figures like former UK Prime Minister David Cameron and HRH Prince William and Prince Harry, the award recognizes global youth leaders dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities. Launched in 2011, the award continues Princess Diana’s legacy of charitable work around the world.
Tessy Ojo, CEO of the Diana Award, said: “We are delighted that the dedication of Shireen can be celebrated with a Diana Award. With a growing network of Award Holders, we are building a force of young people who are committed to take social action and improve their communities all over the world.”
AID has also been honored with the prestigious Women's Excellence Award by the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in recognition of its outstanding contributions toward supporting vulnerable and marginalized communities. This award was presented to the Executive Director during a special ceremony that celebrated the organization’s commitment to delivering high-quality work and creating lasting impact in the community. The recognition emphasizes AID’s dedication to improving lives, advancing opportunities, and working towards sustainable growth for those who need it most. It serves as a testament to the tireless efforts being made to create a future where all individuals, regardless of their circumstances, can thrive and reach their potential.
